Andrew first became involved in the delay analysis whilst on site in the early 1990s before becoming an independent consultant on this and other matters in 2003.
Andrew has carried out delay analysis both adjudication of arbitration including energy projects such as gas power electric generation, hydroelectric power generation, oil and natural gas refining.
Row projects including major highway construction, motorway construction/reconstruction and utilities infrastructure.
Building projects include commercial, industrial, mixed-use and large residential projects.
Others include water and sewage treatment plants, airport works, landfill engineering, land remediation, recycling plants, river and offshore marine works, the value of the delay disputed on these projects range from tens of thousands of pounds to over US$200 million.
Andrew has prepared a written expert witness reports for litigation, arbitration, adjudication and has given evidence, (including being cross examined), before domestic and international tribunal’s and behalf of employers, main contractors and subcontractors.
Clients have included Private Developers, Government Authorities, Joint Ventures, Main Contractors and Sub- Contractors and projects in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Far East, Caribbean and North America.
Andrew holds a Master of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering along with a Master of Science Degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from Kings College, London.
He is a Chartered Engineer and CDER accredited Mediator
before becoming semi retired Andrew was a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of arbitrators, a member of the Institute of Engineers Ireland, the Adjudication Society, the Dispute Board Federation of the Society of Construction Law.
